Nickel-based alloy steel plate preparation technology and processing characteristics

Nickel-based alloy steel plate is usually prepared using the following processes:

1. Melting and casting: The alloy raw materials are melted at high temperature, and then cooled and solidified into a plate shape through a specific mold.

2. Hot rolling: The preheated billet is rolled through a rolling mill to form a plate of required thickness.

3. Cold rolling: The hot-rolled nickel-based alloy steel plate is rolled again to achieve higher surface flatness and processing hardness.

The processing characteristics of nickel-based alloy steel plates are detailed as follows:

1. Good high temperature strength: suitable for engineering applications in high temperature environments to maintain structural stability.

2. High corrosion resistance: Excellent corrosion resistance, suitable for use in harsh environments.

3. Low thermal expansion coefficient: When the temperature changes, the deformation is small and the structure is stable.

4. Heat treatment is difficult: precise control of temperature, time and process parameters is required to ensure excellent alloy performance.

5. Poor cutting performance: high hardness, certain requirements for cutting tools, and prone to tool wear.

6. Easy to deform: Due to high strength and slightly low plasticity, it is easy to deform and needs to be handled with caution.

7. Good welding performance: suitable for various welding methods and can be welded with other metal materials, providing a wider range of application possibilities.

During processing, appropriate processing methods need to be selected based on these characteristics, such as cutting, stamping, bending, welding, etc., to ensure the quality and performance of nickel-based alloy steel plate.
