AISI 410 ferritic stainless steel application fields and cases

AISI 410 is a ferritic stainless steel consisting primarily of an alloy with a higher chromium content (usually between 11.5% and 13.5%) and a higher carbon content (usually between 0.15% and 0.35%). It has good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties and is suitable for a variety of applications, such as:

1. Knife and Blade Manufacturing: AISI 410 stainless steel excels in manufacturing knives, blades and knife parts due to its high hardness and wear resistance.

2. Valves and valve parts: Due to its corrosion resistance and wear resistance, AISI 410 stainless steel is often used to manufacture valve parts such as valve seats and valve stems.

3. Bearings and pump parts: AISI 410 stainless steel is also widely used in mechanical parts such as bearings and pump parts that require corrosion resistance and wear resistance.

4. Food processing equipment: Due to its relatively low price and appropriate corrosion resistance, AISI 410 stainless steel can be used in the manufacturing of food processing equipment.

5. Petroleum and chemical industry: In certain corrosive environments, 410 stainless steel is also used to manufacture pipelines, storage tanks and other equipment.

Practical application cases may include:
- Cutting blades made of AISI 410 stainless steel for textile equipment;
- AISI 410 valve stems for manufacturing chemical valve parts;
- Food processing equipment parts made of AISI 410 stainless steel;
- Pipe supports using AISI 410 stainless steel in the petroleum industry.

These are just some typical practical application cases. In fact, AISI 410 stainless steel can be applied to a wider range of industrial fields.
