1Cr17Mn6Ni5N is a stainless steel grade specified in my country's national standards. Its material composition is relatively unique, based on iron and containing about 1% carbon. The presence of carbon gives stainless steel a certain strength and hardness. The chromium content is about 17%, which is a key element for the corrosion resistance of stainless steel. It can form a dense chromium oxide protective film on the surface of stainless steel, effectively preventing the invasion of external corrosive media. The manganese content is about 6%, and the nickel content is about 5%.
