00Cr19Ni13Mo3 Stainless Steel Composition & High‑Molybdenum Corrosion Resistance

00Cr19Ni13Mo3 is a low‑carbon, high‑molybdenum austenitic stainless steel specified in GB/T 4237 and GB/T 4238, comparable to the international 317L grade. Containing approximately 19% chromium, 13% nickel, and 3% molybdenum, it offers superior resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and chloride attack.

The grade is widely used in seawater systems, chemical processing equipment, acidic media handling, pressure vessels, and hygienic fluid systems. Compared with standard 316L‑type materials, it provides improved service life and corrosion resistance in aggressive environments.

00Cr19Ni13Mo3 is supplied as sheets, coils, plates, tubes, and bars for chemical, pharmaceutical, marine, and environmental engineering applications.
