00Cr17Ni14Mo2 is a low‑carbon molybdenum‑alloyed austenitic stainless steel specified in GB/T 4237 and GB/T 4238, equivalent to the widely used 316L grade. Its composition includes approximately 16–18% chromium, 12–15% nickel, and 2–3% molybdenum, with carbon limited to below 0.03%.

The grade provides excellent resistance to pitting, crevice corrosion, and welding‑related corrosion. It is widely used in marine environments, chemical processing systems, food‑processing installations, pharmaceutical equipment, and pressure vessels.
