JIS G4304 SUS309 SS plates are an austenitic chromium-nickel stainless steel which has excellent heat-resisting properties. SUS309 hot rolled stainless steel has improved corrosion resistance and better creep strength than Type 304. Besides, SUS309 has the same machining properties as Type 304, and can be roll formed, stamped, and drawn easily. Due to its properties, SUS309 hot rolled stainless steel plates work under high-temperatures. SUS309 is used in furnace parts, fire box sheets, high temperature containers and weld wire.
