00Cr19Ni10 Stainless Steel Composition & Low‑Carbon Austenitic Properties

00Cr19Ni10 is a low‑carbon austenitic stainless steel specified in GB/T 4237 and GB/T 4238, corresponding to international Grade 304L. Its composition includes 18–20% chromium and 8–12% nickel, with carbon limited to 0.03% maximum to reduce the risk of intergranular corrosion after welding.

The grade combines excellent corrosion resistance, weldability, and fabrication performance. It is widely used for storage tanks, pressure vessels, food‑processing equipment, pharmaceutical systems, and hygienic piping. Compared with standard 0Cr18Ni9, it offers improved reliability in welded structures.

00Cr19Ni10 is supplied in sheets, coils, tubes, plates, and bars. It is commonly used in chemical processing, food production, medical equipment, and high‑purity engineering applications.
